Vcrest provides a V-Protect program where for a fixed monthly fee (depending on the number of supported devices) our technicians will manage a Windows-based installation including updates to all operating system critical patches (Windows XP/2000/ME/98), maintenance, spywares removal and update of all virus definition files and installation of other preventative security measures as required.

If necessary, on-site repairs will be performed for customers subscribing to the V-Protect or our other Extended Support Programs.

What V-Protect provides?

• Vcrest will make sure your anti-virus software is operating properly and fully protecting your programs and data
• We monitor all announcements from Microsoft and make sure that all patches and other critical updates are immediately loaded
• We prepare solutions for newly identified security threats and make sure that appropriate precaution are taken to protect our customer’s computers
• We scan for viruses and spywares or other security intrusions and take appropriate and immediate remedial action
• We repair and recover to the greatest extent possible computers harmed by virus, spywares or other security attacks
• We provide additional phone support (up to 30 minutes per month) to help with general computing issues and questions

Flexible options available

V-Protect is now available by simple monthly payments, no need for a large initial outlay. Whilst advance payment provides a better rate, it is often more difficult to budget for, we help you to manage your IT costs with a payment option to match your requirements.

What is the Cost?

V-Protect cost $40* per month for a single computer. Compare this small investment to the time and effort required to reload your computer from scratch. Consider the financial cost of losing all of your programs and data due to a malicious virus attack infecting your computer! Spywares takes up precious processor time of your system, imagine having Spywares in your system without you even knowing!

V-Protect also provides 30 minutes per month of free phone technical support with an Vcrest desktop specialist. This 30-minutes call can be used to troubleshoot most computing problems from hardware setup and operation, to answering questions about frequently used Microsoft programs and utilities.

Vcrest rates are shown in the table below. Multiple computers at the same location or ordered under the same account are priced at a discount.
